A large, molded and carved walnut CHEST OF DRAWERS with three drawers. The curved front is carved with a lattice pattern and features a shell motif in the center. The side panels are carved with a cascade of flowers, and the piece rests on arched legs with foliage motifs. 19th-century regional work, in the 18th-century Rocaille style. Bronze hardware; handles with floral decoration, Rocaille-style lock plates. 83 x 132 x 67 cm. Restored. Missing locks. Woodworm holes. Some damage to the edges of the drawers.
