ARMCHAIR in carved and patinated beech with a caned seat. The backrest and crossbar are centered around a large shell motif bordered by foliage scrolls. The armrests are recessed and slightly flared. Set on four curved legs with shell-shaped finials. Stamped “L. CRESSON” for Louis CRESSON, who was admitted as a master craftsman in 1738. Regency period. Dimensions: 96 x 67 x 54 cm.
