Pierre CHAPO (1927–1987) Very rare PAIR OF CHAIRS, model S 11X, in a variant with a “48x72” dovetail joint and beveled sides. Solid elm frame; backrest and seat covered in stretched leather. Made circa 1966. Dimensions: 70 x 43 x 43 cm. (Aged leather.) Bibliography: H. Magen et al., “Pierre Chapo, un artisan moderne,” Magen H Gallery, 2017; a variant of the model reproduced on pp. 188–195.

Lots will then be transferred to the Drouot storage facility(except for jewelry). All items will be released upon presentation of the original tag and the paid invoice or a document authorizing pickup issued by our company.

Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on certain Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., magasinage@drouot.com, 01 48 00 20 18.
