Italian School, second half of the 19th century St. Peter’s Square in Rome. Oval micro-mosaic depicting St. Peter’s Square, bustling with visitors and water fountains, adorned in the center by the obelisk surrounded by four streetlamps. Set in a hardstone and onyx frame, on an octagonal base of griotte marble. Dimensions of the micro-mosaic: 2.5 x 3.3 cm. Overall dimensions: 8.3 x 12 cm. (Chips: one in the onyx and another in the marble).

Lots may be picked up directly in the auction room during the sale and until 9:30 a.m. the following day

Lots will then be transferred to the Drouot storage facility(except for jewelry). All items will be released upon presentation of the original tag and the paid invoice or a document authorizing pickup issued by our company.

Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on certain Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., magasinage@drouot.com, 01 48 00 20 18.
