Important and original Aubusson rug, 17th-18th century Wool carpet on cotton backing, needlework, tapestry technique. Decorated with reserves and compartments in the taste and style of carpets after cartoons by Charles Le Brun, inlaid with sprays and bouquets of stylized flowers and foliage framing a central emerald-green medallion with a polychrome crown of stylized flowers. Green main border decorated with rows of garlands of flowers and foliage in cord form. Dim : 305 x 241 cm. Good condition.
