Original, old and large RUG Rabat, Morocco, North Atlas, North Africa, circa 1940/50. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Field formed by a mosaic of geometrically stylized flowers in polychrome adorned with a large brick-red hexagonal central medallion inlaid with a multicolored floral central rosette framed by two stylized oil lamps. Five borders decorated with rows of polychrome floral bulbs. 288 x 212 cm. Good condition.
