The triumphal return of Alexander the Great Border decorated with rows of stylized pennants, flags, weapons and musical instruments. Wool velvet and silk foundation. 192 cm x 240 cm (Restorations, scratches) Note: Probably Babylon (symbolic eastern city, conquered city) This is an allegorical representation of triumph.
