Important and fine Tabriz RUG, silk, golden threads, Iran, circa 1985. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Density of approx. 10,000 knots per dm2. Golden-yellow field in gilded thread with arabesques of fine crenellated stems, flowers and foliage, in pastel tones, adorned with a large central medallion, crowned with polychrome flowers. Triple border, the main one with semis of multicolored floral cartouches. 300 x 200 cm. Good condition.
