Original silk Ghoum RUG, Iran, signed circa 1985. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Density approx. 10,000 to 11,000 knots per dm2. Coral field with polychrome geometric floral decoration, adorned with a star-shaped cruciform medallion with symmetrical double vases of flower bouquets. Main border decorated with friezes of ivory prayer niches. 300 x 200 cm. Good condition.
