Large and fine silk Ghoum RUG (Iran) circa 1980. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Pale pink field with polychrome palmettes of flowers and foliage, adorned with a central starry rosette. Four ivory spandrels echoing the central rosette. Ivory border with interlacing floral bulbs. 301 x 200 cm. Good condition.
