Large mahogany case with brass spandrels, carrying handles and cartouche marked Charles Johns in London. Interior lined with green velvet, containing an English six-barrel pepperbox. Engraved lock signed Charles Johns. James street London. On the other side, Gun Maker and Her Royal Highness Prince Albert. A few accessories complete the set, including a powder flask, a bullet mold, a powder pod, a cleaning rod and a box of primers and bullets. The boxing is later.
