LARGE AND FINE SILK RUG, Ghoum, Iran circa 1975. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Bright ruby field with polychrome palmettes of flowers and foliage, adorned with a central medallion in the form of an ivory star-shaped cruciform pendant. Four spandrels decorated in the same way as the central medallion. Beige main border with flower garlands. Dimensions : 300 x 200 cm. Good condition.
