FINE RUG, Nain Iran circa 1975. Wool and silk in the Nain Habibian tradition. Midnight-blue field decorated with ivory and sky-blue scrolls and garlands of flowering palmettes framing a central beige poly-lobed rosette with a starry floral crown. Four ivory spandrels with floral bulbs. Triple border, the main beige one with motifs reminiscent of the spandrels. Dimensions: 195 x 120 cm. Fine quality.
