IMPORTANT RUG Agra, India, mid 20th century Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Beautiful graphic design. Ruby field decorated with palmettes and ivory and old gold bulbs of geometrically stylized flowers surrounded by foliage and serpentine or stylized octopus-shaped crenellated stems. Wide emerald-green border with motifs reminiscent of the central field. Dimensions: 370 x 270 cm. Good condition.
