Important TAPIS in the Savonnerie style, XXth century. Important TAPIS de style Savonnerie. Wool velvet on cotton backing. Décor reminiscent of Louis XIV-style 17th-century carpets. Black field with very large beige crenellated central medallion inlaid with feather-like foliage and adorned with a second sky-blue oval central medallion with stylized double lyres. Four spandrels with twisted crenellated foliage branches in the shape of cornucopias. 20th century. Size: 360 x 280 cm. (Good condition)
