Silk velvet on silk foundation.
Density of approximately 9,000 to 10,000 knots per dm2.
Ivory field decorated with a thousand flowers, adorned with a central floral rosette with polychrome flower sprays in the form of a stylized diamond and framed by fine scrolls of crenellated stems.
Four spandrels with floral bulbs in a motif reminiscent of the central rosette.
Seven borders, the main one in midnight blue with seeded floral bulbs and burst diamond-shaped flower buds.
Shah era, circa 1960.
