Silk velvet on silk foundation.
Density of approx. 9,000 knots per dm2.
Decorated with bands and stripes inlaid with botehs (the seed motif found in Kashmir shawls, symbolizing fertility and genesis). Triple border, the main one in old gold, with decoration reminiscent of the central field. Beautiful graphics.
Circa 1965, Shah era.
