Very important old Tabriz Djaffer RUG (Iran) late 19th, early 20th century. Very important and old Tabriz Djaffer RUG (Iran) Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Ivory field with mosaics of ruby flowers in the form of popped diamonds, adorned with four tangled medallions in cherry, ivory, ruby and pale blue. Eight borders, the main one apricot abrashé with serrated foliage. Late 19th, early 20th century. Dim: 550 x 380 cm. (Oxidation and natural wear)
