Wool velvet on cotton foundation.
Density of approximately 5,000 to 5,500 knots per dm2.
Cherry-colored field with polychrome geometric floral design, adorned with a large, central, cruciform, multicolored, star-shaped floral medallion. Four spandrels echo the central medallion.
Triple border, the main one in midnight blue with geometrically stylized turtle shells.
Mid-twentieth century.
Dim : 334 cm x 250 cm.
