Large and fine Dwarf RUG, Iran. High-quality wool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk on cotton foundations. Royal blue field decorated with scrolls, garlands of flowers and stylized foliage framing a large central floral rosette in the form of a stylized diamond. Four finely drawn floral wreath spandrels. Triple borders. Circa 1975. Size: 310 x 200 cm. (Fine finish, good overall condition)
