Fine, original and antique Melayer RUG, Iran. Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Beige field decorated with double large midnight-blue octagonal medallions with polychrome stylized botehs. Beige main border decorated with semis of floral bulbs in the shape of stylized turtle shells. Circa 1930. Size: 176 x 108 cm. (Good overall condition, beautiful polychromy, fine finish, small restoration to be revised)
