Fine and original Ghoum kork RUG, Iran. High-quality silky wool velvet on cotton backing. Semis of reserves inlaid with bouquets of flowers and stylized foliage in polychrome. Main border in ivory with floral bulbs. Decor reminiscent of French soapmaking. Mid-twentieth century, Shah period. Size: 150 x 110 cm. (Good general condition)
