Large Savonnerie-style knotted-stitch rug. Wool velvet on cotton backing. Beige field with sprigs of flowers surrounding a very large crenellated central medallion in the shape of a gilded wood mirror, inlaid with a polychrome floral bouquet. Four reserved spandrels with decor reminiscent of the central medallion. 20th century. Dimensions: 300 x 240 cm. Good condition.
