Grand et fin tapis Tabriz, Iran Large and fine Tabriz rug, Northwest Iran. High-quality silky lambswool velvet and silk on silk backing. Density: approx. 8,500/9,000 knots per dm2. (Remarkable finesse) Beige field decorated with royal blue and pink stylized foliage and flower scrolls and garlands, in silk adorned with a central rosette with a pastel-toned floral crown. Four spandrels recall the central medallion. Circa 1975. Dimensions: 300 x 200 cm. (Good condition)
