Wool velvet on cotton backing.
A sublime "Mina Khani" design of polychrome plant interlacing covers the entire field of this rug, consisting of an anthracite field, a diamond-shaped counter-field and a charcoal-black medallion adorned with an even denser floral composition with a cruciform heart.
Two ivory counterborders with stylized florets and two other anthracite counterborders with garlands of flowers frame the main brickwork with interlaced corollas and leaves.
