Grand et fin Ghoum, en soie Large and fine silk Ghoum, Iran Silk velvet on silk foundation. Density/ approx. 10/11,000 knots per dm2. Ruby field decorated with polychrome scrolls and garlands of flowering palmettes and stylized foliage framing a central midnight-blue and ivory floral medallion in the shape of an elongated diamond. Midnight-blue main border with multicolored floral bulbs. Circa 1975. Dimensions 300 x 200 cm. Remarkable finesse, good overall condition.
