Ancient kabristan (Caucasus). Late 19th century Technical characteristics: Wool velvet on wool foundation. Restorations of maintenance. Dark navy field decorated with three medallions in the form of Armenian and Orthodox crosses in polychrome surrounded by stylized starry flowers, animals, birds, dragons, crabs and insects (all the symbolism of the soil). The main border is ivory with hooks and geometrically multicoloured stylised birds. Dimensions: 164 x 115 cm.
