Kachan. Iran. Circa 1975. Technical characteristics: Wool velvet on cotton foundations. Ruby field with scrolls and polychrome flowered palm branches framing a central medallion of navy and ivory flowers in the shape of an elongated diamond. Four spandrels with multicoloured floral crowns. Triple borders, the main one in midnight blue with interlacing stems and floral branches. Good general condition. Dimensions: 160 x 110 cm.
