Jean PROUVE (1901-1984), Rare "all-wood" model ARMCHAIR JEAN PROUVE (1901-1984) Rare "all-wood" model ARMCHAIR, manufactured by the Vauconsant workshops around 1940. Solid oak frame, seat and backrest in thermoformed wood veneered with waxed oak (current veneer on seat and backrest refurbished). Armrests supported by the rear base and held in place by two side arms. The "all-wood" model was created in 1941 by Jean Prouvé in association with Etablissements Vauconsant, who produced the model.
