GRETSCH Guitar, model : 6120 Year : 1957. Serial number : 22030. Maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, maple top, maple back and sides. Mythical guitar born in 1955 from the collaboration between the talented musician Chet Atkins and Jimmy Webster musician but also consultant for the emblematic brand of Brooklin. In the 50's, Jimmy Webster became the spearhead of the Gretsch brand because of his innovations and his sense of aesthetics. The Gretsch 6120 presented today dates from 1957 (second year of production) and has all the features and elegance expected of an early 6120. The original electronics give way to the incomparable sound of the Dearmond (Dynasonic) pickups, real pieces of ingenious and so effective goldsmithery. The whole instrument is in good condition, original color and varnish, slight restoration on the heel, perfect playing condition. A Gretsch case and the original aluminium bridge are included.
